I found yoga - as many often do - during a moment of crisis in my life. I was in my early 20s with an eating disorder, depression, anxiety, lots of stress and unexpressed anger and a disconnection from my body. I was physically and emotionally undernourished and over-tired. Enter yoga.

My time on the mat became a way for me to heal my battered relationship with my body and to reconnect with my spirit. It was and continues to be a vehicle for conversation and exploration. The practice has been so transformative in my life and on my embodiment journey, that I was driven to study it more deeply and, now, to share it with others.

I completed my 200 hour training at Dou Yoga in Brooklyn, New York under the tutelage of Yuuki Hirano and Ariel Kiley. Since then, I have had the opportunity to teach in New York, Asia, South America and Europe. My style is both meditative and playful, and you’ll find my classes or individual sessions to be about much more than just the physical poses or a workout sensation. I aim to create a safe space for students of all different ages, body types and experience levels to explore the wisdom of their bodies and to empower them to let their light shine on and off the mat.
